Behind the fashion that we consume there is a  dark history of injustice and oppression.

Children without the possibility of going to school, with endless hours of work; women without a contract and without social security, sometimes they do more than 150 extra hours a month ; indigenous families evicted from their lands...

The big companies don't assume any risk and they take all the benefits. On the contrary, in textile workshops of these countries the workers, mostly women and children, live in poor conditions.

The establishment of an international organization that controls these abuses may help that the human rights of workers begin to be met.

Two years ago there was the worst accident in the history of the textile industry: 1,100 people died after collapsing the Plaza Rana building, which housed mostly textile workshops subcontracted by European and American brands.
